Since 2013, we have supplied the Nordics with lacquered and clear body parts of the highest quality.
Busspart started by manufacturing aftermarket parts in bodywork for buses where we saw there was a great need for good and cheaper alternatives to OEM. In procured traffic, cost is the most adjustable factor so, simply put, it is whoever has the best control over their costs that can win traffic and also reach their expected margins. By not only producing parts of equivalent quality and fit from OEM, we often improved the product by choosing more impact-resistant and environmentally friendly materials. We asked the mechanics for their input and made changes and adjustments that save them time in the workshop. We also noticed that there was often downtime despite the OEM delivering quickly due to the local refinisher not having time to refinish. Over 90% of our products are delivered painted in the color of the traffic area, thus often avoiding expensive downtime. Today we produce our parts in Sätila outside Gothenburg and in Råde outside Fredrikstad in Norway.
In 2017, we supplemented the business by offering workshop services in sheet metal and painting
Quite soon after that, we also open workshops in Norway and see that we can find synergies together with our customers who have traffic in both of these countries. Now the business is expanding further and we are starting additional workshops, getting greater capacity and a more complete offer, which you can read about in our services here on the web. In 2021, work started on putting Busspart’s products into operation in Denmark, where we now offer an assortment of parts adapted to the Danish market. We at Busspart believe that through industry understanding, hard work and great know-how, we will continue our positive development of both the offer, staff and customers.
